Web server

Allowing RUSLUG members to host personal sites. Members may place files in $HOME/public_html and have them appear at http://ruslug.rutgers.edu/~$USER.
Mail server
Using: Postfix
Providing RUSLUG members with club email accounts
SSH server
Using: OpenSSH
Providing shell access to the RUSLUG server
SFTP server
Using: OpenSSH
Allowing those will shell accounts to transfer files to and from the RUSLUG server.
Spam Filter
Using: SpamAssassin
May score incoming emails indicating the likelyhood they are Unsolicited Bulk Email
Mailing Lists
Using: Mailman
Used to promote discussions and keep RUSLUG members up-to-date on special events
ISO Images
Distro server - to provide Rutgers University students, faculty and staff with up-to-date CD images of popular distributions.
