Rob Zinkov

Salutations to all. I am Rob Zinkov and I am now serving as President for RUSLUG. That means I work with the SAC, who in all actuality are really chill people. As you can already tell RUSLUG is best club on campus. I was not truly sure and checked so I know that it is the best. Well as for me personally, I like to code in less popular but technically superior programming language (Common Lisp, Ocaml, Lua, Brainfuck, etc). I play around with Machine Learning algorithms (well its really Artificial Intelligence but the folks around here frown a lot when you say it) and I am a big fan Godel Escher Bach. As far as not geeky stuff, I am an avid player of Door Hardware Sport and guitar chord player. Seriously there is no joy like pushing pins and plucking strings.

Linux Aptitudes

I can probably code pretty well in any language.

Well I installed LFS (Linux From Scratch), so I know the internals pretty well.

Anything else that I don't know I can probably grab from a man page.

FreeBSD Aptitudes

I have a few ports out in the main tree

I am pretty decent with kernel compiling (Love that textfile)

Elinks - A very nice console web browser

Slime - An emacs plugin that makes coding in lisp very nice

Snownews - A console Rss reader that happens to feature a game where you kill Santa

Reddit - its like digg but with good articles

SomaFM - internet radio, they play some of the most obscure music
